What is 50% For the Community?

Date Night is a membership program that offers our members access to hundreds of deals and thousands of dollars in savings at top-rated Denver area food & drink establishments, as well as date night activities.  With the Date Night 50% For The Community program, we will donate 50% of the cost of each annual membership sold, or $20.00, to eligible local schools and charitable organizations selected by our members.  Register your organization today and we’ll help you promote this fundraising program to your supporters.  Your supporters get access to amazing deals and you generate funds for your organization.

How does 50% For The Community work?

After you register your organization, we will provide you with a code that you can share with your supporters.  When they sign up for an annual Date Night membership ($39.99) using your code, we will donate 50% ($20.00) to your organization.  Payments will be distributed to your bank account quarterly.  

How do I register and receive donations for my charitable organization?

Registering your organization is easy.  In order to register and receive donations, you must be an official representative of an eligible organization.  Simply click on the button above and start the registration process.

How do we promote 50% For The Community to our supporters?

Date Night will create a page for your organization on our website with information about the program, your organization’s code, and directions to sign up.  For school related organizations, specifically, we can also work with you to create and distribute printed flyers that you can share with your student’s parents and guardians.

What are the eligibility requirements for our organization?

Organizations must be registered and in good standing with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) to be eligible to participate.  Eligible organizations must be located within the state of Colorado.  We required a Federal Tax ID (EIN), as well as one form of written proof that your organization is tax exempt, such as 501(c)(3) Letter of Determination or Form 990 Exempt from Income Tax.

Can you mail our organization a donations check rather than an electronic funds transfer?

We do not mail any checks due to the cost of fulfillment and check processing.  We distribute funds using Paypal or electronic funds transfer to reduce costs, so we can donate 100% of the funds to eligible schools and charitable organizations.
